Process

Process is a utility to stop certain games running too fast on some computers. It works by using as much CPU power as it can, which encourages processors with power-saving capabilities to run at full speed.

Running this program in the "Processing" state for any length of time puts your computer under more stress than usual. You have been warned.

It may be able to help with speed issues in the following games:

  • Beyond Good & Evil
  • Painkiller
  • King Kong
  • Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time
  • Prince of Persia: Warrior Within
  • Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones
  • ...and maybe more

Instructions

You should start processing before you launch your game and stop processing once you've finished playing.
